Suffragan Bishop Joseph Worrells

Senior Pastor

Suffragan Bishop Joseph Worrells is the Pastor of the Potter’s House Apostolic Ministry of Burnsville, Minnesota, established May 1, 2012. He is licensed and ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW).

Bishop Worrells served in the U.S. Army for 23 years before retiring as a First Sergeant.

In 1995, the Lord called Joseph to preach the Gospel.  In 1996, he was baptized with the Holy Ghost before he received teaching about the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

In October 2005 he was appointed one of two Assistant Pastors at Christ Temple Apostolic Church. Pastor Worrells served as Elder, Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and administrative assistant to the Pastor and Board members.  He also served as Brotherhood Chairman, Evangelism coordinator, and Praise and Worship leader.  At the district level he served as Brotherhood Chairman and assistant secretary for the Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota District Council (MWDDC) and currently serving as the Administrator.

Bishop Worrells loves ministry, music and studying God’s word. He has great interest in the historical aspect of the Word- people, places and things concerning the Word of God.  In his free time, Bishop Worrells loves boating, watching Tar Heels basketball, and spending quality time with his family.

Bishop Worrells takes great pride in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He has been married to Pamela Worrells over 40 years.  They have two adult children, Chrissie(Courtenay) and Joseph(Kristina) and five grandchildren, Rachel, Jayvion, Isaiah, Braylen and Jaxon.

Administrative Pastor

Pamela Worrells is a mentor and provides encouragement through the Word of God.  She uses her life experiences to provide the love, healing and deliverance of the Word of God to those the Lord places in her path.

Pamela has a passion for empowering women to fulfill their purpose in life and served as the leader of the Women's Ministry at Christ Temple Apostolic Church (CTAC) for six years. The purpose of the ministry was to teach women to live in God's grace by hosting events and creating resources that nurture women spiritually, emotionally and relationally.   Additionally, she volunteered in many other capacities such as a member of the Pastor's Aide Committee, Kitchen Ministry and Office Staff at CTAC during the 13 years as a member.  She was elected to the position of treasurer of the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakotas District Council (MWDDC) and served for six years.

A native of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Sister Worrells earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland.  She has over 20 years of experience in the accounting field, and worked for the U.S. Treasury, Pentagon and the Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service.  

Sister Worrells has been married over 40 years to Pastor Joseph Worrells.  They are the parents of two adult children, Chrissie R. Carver and Joseph L. Worrells II and have five grandchildren.

Her favorite pastimes include cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
